Clay

Victorian Football Association
Career: 1880

No mention found of being in the Seniors, maybe he was a Reserves player. Reserve or Second Twenty details are rare.

The only mention found so far of Clay is a piece in the Australasian newspaper about Australian Football in Sydney.

"The East Sydney club held its meeting last week, and it was attended by 50 people - a very large number for Sydney.
The club has secured Nash from Melbourne, Kellet from South Melbourne, Clay from Carlton, Young from Hotham, and a number of others of lesser fame. The colours are all blue with red-and-white hose."
(Trove: Australasian May 21 1881)
