Eric McLeod played reserve grade football for Carlton from 1969 to 1970, during the 1970 season McLeod was troubled with groin injuries that hindered his opportunities of playing senior football for the Blues.

McLeod was recruited from South Bendigo, he played in the South Bendigo premiership team in 1969.

He did not manage a Senior game for Carlton.
