In 1885 a player named Carsons was selected in the Carlton Second Twenty team squad of 23 that played Daylesford at Daylesford on Monday May 25 (Queen's Birthday Holiday) Same player?

1890 CFC Annual Report, Carsons scored 1 goal during the season,
(and 3 goals in the Reserves.)

1890 Carsons played in the loss to Geelong at the Geelong Cricket Ground on 20th September. He scored a goal.
This must have been his one and only senior game.

1891 R. Carsons received a gold locket for exellence of play in the Second Twenty from Councillor Pierce at the Carlton Football Club's general meeting held at the Hibernian Hall Swanston Street, Wednesday 25th. March.
