Risehead and/or Rischial

1896 September 26
Risehead is named in the 27 man Carlton squad to play Williamstown at Williamstown.
This would be Carlton's last match in the VFA, and the last time the Blues would play Williamstown.

The previous week September 19, Carlton played Richmond on the City Reserve behind the Richmond Town Hall. This was a Carlton home game due to the University Oval being unavailable.
Volume 5 of "Origins of Australian Football" has a Carlton player named Rischial playing against the Tigers. Now, Rischial does not appear as a name in Trove or Google.
Blueseum believes this may have been a misprint in the newspapers (eight letters in each name) and the player may have been Risehead.
However, Risehead is a very unusual surname as well.
