Game Review

The Geelong Advertiser said the 10,000 crowd was a record for the venue.
The train taking 1,300 Carlton supporters to Geelong was delayed by heavy fog and the match started 3.22pm and ended late in the afternoon at 5.40pm, ending in darkness. Charles Rauber kicks a goal on debut.

At the end of this round Carlton were in 4th spot on the ladder with a percentage of 134.1.

Footnote

A 73 year old aged pensioner, Mr. Moore who is a football enthusiast, walked to to and from the Geelong ground to see today's match, from Winchelsea. A round trip of 46 miles (74km) in one day!
