How to get good images from Trove

There is a good trick to getting good quality images from Trove.

This is especially useful for getting headshots for players from team pictures.

It is really easy and once you get the hang of it you can do it very quickly.

This is a typical team photo available on Trove.

Notice the zoom function highlighted in the bottom right of the picture below.

Use that and you can zoom into the picture and get this result.

The next step is to run the Snipping Tool program. If you have Windows 7 or Vista you can find it under the following menus

All Programs>Accessories

With this tool you can take partial screen captures. What that means is you can capture any rectangular part of what is currently on your computer screen and save it as an image.

If you do not have this program simply google 'partial screen capture' and there are plenty of very good free programs out there that will do the same job.

The result in the end is a good quality picture which is the perfect size for a player profile page.
