Wearing guernsey #24, Prince played 10 games, and kicked a solitary goal, for the Blues after debuting in Season 1919.

Prince had been something of a key player at South Melbourne for the 8 years prior (1910 to 1918), managing to play 103 games and boot 5 goals in the Red & White. He also spent time at St Kilda which was his first VFL club from 1908 to 1909. In his time with the Saints he managed 2 games and booted a solitary goal.

Prince also played at Preston, Rose of Northcote and Avenel (the latter was where he was born).

Prince passed away on the 7th November, 1970 aged 85.
