Keith Batchelor played reserve grade football for Carlton in 1951.

Batchelor transferred from Collingwood to Carlton on the 6th June, 1951 and played the remainder of the season with the Carlton reserves team. Batchelor started the year with the Blues reserves but it was only a few games into the 1952 season before he transferred back to Collingwood. Batchelor played mainly as a full-back

Batchelor played with Collingwood from 1952 to 1955 for a total of 21 games and 17 goals. He then played a further two seasons with North Melbourne, he added another 21 games to his overall tally of games played at senior level.

He didn't manage to play a senior game for Carlton.
