Woodley Noel Burrows, or as he preferred to be known as Noel Burrows played reserve grade football for Carlton in 1935.

Burrows who was a wingman was recruited from rival club Collingwood. In 1935 whilst playing at Collingwood, he was listed as No. 24 for the Magpies when they won in Round 1 against Geelong at Victoria Park. Burrows whose nickname was 'Patsy' was recruited from Hawthorn 2nds/Xavier College.

It was noted that he reecived a transefr permit in the Football Record from Collingwood to Carlton on May 6 1935. Burrows first wore No. 25 (July 27, 1935) he was also listed under No. 47 in the Semi Final Record (Sept 14). Carlton lost to Melbourne by 4 points (9.16.70 to 11.8.74 and Melbourne went on to win their fifth (& last) in a row of 2nds Grand Final) (this was the curtain raiser to the Carlton & Richmond semi final).

He didn't manage to play a senior game for Carlton.
