Former Carlton player John Cook's home in Amess Street North Carlton was broken into and a silver presentation watch was stolen.
Fortunately a detective who was sent to investigate robberies in the area, caught a man coming from a house. This man was carrying a number of stolen goods, jewellery, braclets and John Cook's watch.
