Hunter was named in the 21 man Carlton squad that played that played the first game at the Blues new home ground Princes Oval in the southern portion of Princes Park.
Carlton played a combined team team made up of 25 players from the Lincoln and Carlton Imperial clubs.
Hunter's name appears at the end of the Carlton team list, and he could have been the Blues' emergency for the game.
This day, Hunter was also named in the Carlton Second Twenty team that played Rising Sun in Royal Park.
