Game Review

Now this really was an exciting time for all Carlton supporters - because at last we were coming out of the wilderness. With a growing list of young, skilled players under Barassi's coaching, the possibilities surely excited all but the most pessimistic of Blues fans.

That list of players was augmented by two more exciting debutantes in this game; Alex Jesaulenko and Brian Kekovich.

Because these teams shared Princes Park at the time, Carlton was the 'away' side in this match.
