I was actually going to change the formatting to make them look better. May as well do it now!

pblue, sorry mate if you read this, but all those dots do not look good.

I'll keep the order and the surnames first aspect as that was something I was going to do, but the dots are going.

I'm thinking of having the rows with alternating colours (white and grey) so that each row can be distinguished better.

I might do that now and then the two versions can be compared.

Yes looks better with surname in capitals.

Have also noticed that quite a few players with same surname are not all in alphabetical order- eg Aitken, Anderson, Armstrong, Brown.
