2020 Northern Blues
From Blueseum - History of the Carlton Football Club
Disaster struck the globe in 2020, as the COVID virus spread throughout the world. Our AFL competition was severely impacted and Blues players had to spend much of their 2020 in quarantine.
At the lower levels, this lockdown spelt disaster. Our youngsters at the Northern Blues were arranged in various scratch matches depending on who was in or out of quarantine at the time. Even worse, our friends at the Bullants folded.
Hopes were renewed in 2021 with talk of a standalone team...
