Caleb played his junior football with Thornton, and Buxton, prior to playing TAC Cup with the Murray Bushrangers. He was recruited by Carlton with selection 80 in the 2008 National Draft. Tiller is a bottom age player and has been drafted with a view to developing as a key position player for the Blues, able to play forward or back.

Tiller was delisted at the end of the 2010 Season. In 2011, Tiller played with the Blues affiliate VFL club the Northern Bullants.


He did not play a Senior game with Carlton.
