1870 The Argus has T. Kneen named in the Carlton side to play Albert Park at Albert Park on 23rd. July.

1870 The Argus has H. Kneen as a goal scorer for Carlton against the Hobson Bay Railway Company club at Richmond paddock 25th. June.

1871 The Argus has T. Kneen and a W. Kneen named in a Collingwood team (not to be confused with the present day club formed 1892) playing Richmond, Saturday 03 June.

The Australasian's cricket writer (p22) "Felix" says "One of them was a first rate footballer and good cricketer, Tom Kneen, who goes back to the days of old Bell street....."
