Zorzi later played with VFL Team the Northern Bullants. His coach and former Blue Mark Williams stated that VFL players dont come much better than him. Zorzi mainly played as a half-back / on-baller who had neat skills and is rarely beaten in 50/50 contests. Zorzi represented the VFL in 2002 against the SANFL, the same season he was named in the VFL team of the year in the back pocket.

Zorzi was recruited from TAC Cup side the Preston Knights, his original junior club was Epping.

He did not play a Senior game for Carlton.

In 2005 Zorzi headed to SANFL club Norwood, the following is an extract from the Norwood webiste in which at this stage he had played 147 games up until the end of the 2012 season. After a fine'' career in the VFL, Brett has established himself as a premier SANFL footballer. in 2012 Zorzi won his 3rd club Champion award and also filled in as Captain in the absence of Kieran McGuinness for the 2012 Premiership. Brett proved that being the oldest player on the Norwood List meant little to affect his form showing his best form late in the year being selected in the Advertiser team of the year for the 3rd time.
