Heath Buck


Heath played two years in the Under 19's (1986 & 1987) and played 32 games.

Heath was recruited to Carlton via St.Joseph's College North Melbourne and after being delisted by the Blues at the end of 1987 was recruited to Bacchus Marsh FC in the Ballarat Football League and coached after some years by former 1987 Carlton premiership player Paul Meldrum in 1995. Spiro Kourkoumelis also came to Bacchus Marsh with Meldrum.

In 2002 he was vice captain and full forward for the Hammerheads the team made from scratch by Channel 7 for the reality TV show The Club. The Hammerheads won the premiership in the Western Region Football League in their one and only year in the competition. That team was coached by former Carlton premiership player and Norm Smith medallist David Rhys-Jones.

Heath worked in the media for radio station KROCK in Geelong for many years.

Heath's brother Greg Buck also played at the U19 level for the Carlton Football Club.
