Philip Herbert Waldron brother of A. E. 'Topsy' Waldron and Ernest Arthur Waldron Another brother Francis Michael "Frank" Waldron played 20 games for Melbourne.

Little is known about H. Waldron.
His name appears in Volume 5 of "Origins of Australian Football" as appearing in one of the Carlton team squads of 1878.
Perhaps his match details have been included in Topsy's as only the surnames are generally mentioned in match reports.

Carlton played Geelong on the Corio Cricket ground.
Herbert Waldron was named as an emergency
However he is named in one of the match reports as well as his brother 'Topsy" Waldron.

1878 September 21
Carlton played South Melbourne (25) in Royal Park.
Both Waldrons are named in the Carlton 20 squad.
Most likely both took the field. Only the surname is mentioned in reports.
