1892 CFC Annual Report, J. Blake scored 1 goal during the season.

Went to the St.Kilda Football Club and became the club's captain.

In 1897 at the St.Kilda AGM April 07, James J. Blake became one of two St.Kilda delegates to the newly formed VFL.

1943 Passed away June 02 aged 77
