Mark McKenzie was a midfielder who was originally on the Port Power Rookie list. The Blues took a punt with McKenzie and placed him onto the Blues Rookie list for the 2003 Season. He was originally recruited from Montmorency via TAC Cup team the Northern Knights U/18's.

McKenzie headed back to the SANFL to play with Woodville-West Torrens where he became Captain as well as becoming a highly decorated player for the club. By the end of the 2010 Season, McKenzie had played 169 games and kicked 63 goals for the Eagles. He teamed up with former fellow Blues Rookie team-mate Mark Passador at the Eagles.
