Multiple Winners of the MPBW

Charlie McInnes had ‘won’ the most Carlton’s MPBW (Most Proficient Bench Warmers) Award with four, starting with the 1939 season (7 games as 19th man), 1941 (5 times) and in the last season with a ‘solo’ 19th man in 1945 (6 times), he was a joint winner in 1944 with three other players who all started as 19th man 3 times. Peter Kerr is next with 3 MPBW Awards winning it in 1967 (with 9 times as a reserve) and 1969 (6 times) and sharing it in 1968 (7 times).
