Carlton’s winning streak reached two with a meritorious win in the West. The Blues and Eagles were evenly matched in the first three quarters before Carlton pulled away in the last. Aaron Hamill kicked 5 goals up forward and proved a headache for the Eagles all day. Matthew Allan also continued his rich vein of form, gathering another 3 Brownlow Medal votes.
