Game Review

Despite the humiliation of our previous meeting at Victoria Park in round 5, Carlton fared little better in this return match against Collingwood at Princes Park.

In a low-scoring slog of a game, the Blues were held goalless again for the entire first half. Follower Len Morrison eventually broke the drought, when he kicked truly for Carlton's only goal of the match in the third term. Yet Collingwood too, struggled to score. They managed only three goals from 14 scoring shots, to win by 19 points.

At the end of this round Carlton were in 7th spot on the ladder with a percentage of 55.4.
