Midfield dominated this contest with
Bernie Evans producing an outstanding game with 27 kicks and 5 goals. C.Bradley 23 kicks, W.Blackwell 21 and D.Glascott 21 proved wonderful support.
Carlton's dynamic onballer,
Craig Bradley earned two votes for a sparkling game against Richmond to once again lead the Inside Football Player of the Year award. VFL Park's miserable conditions did little to affect Bradley's awesome ball skills. The former Port Adelaide footballer relished the Park's wide open spaces and he, along with brilliant small man
Bernie Evans who was best on ground, helped cut Richmond to pieces. It was also a return to form by Blue winger
David Glascott who picked up a vote in the process.
