Game Review
Carlton rolled Footscray and again it was full marks to classy Blues small man Vin Catoggio. His stylish play pleased the crowd and he was awarded top votes for his sterling performance which included five goals. Also not far away in causing grief to the Bulldogs was first year winger Phil Maylin. The SA recruit provided excellent drive from his wing, and was also responsible for assisting in this large defeat of the Bulldogs. Maylin also kicked two goals. - Inside Football Player of the Year.
