After a one point win the week before, the Blues were on the other end of a one point margin with the Saints winning this tightly fought tussle.

St Kilda's mercurial full-forward, Bill Mohr kicked his 100th goal for the season with an eight goal tally in the Saints thrilling one-point win against Carlton.
