Game Review

Collingwood turned the tables on Carlton from Round 2 of earlier in the year and took the points in Round 7. In front all day, the Pies maintained their strangehold on top spot. The game was marred by behind the play 'incidents', the loss pushes the Blues out of the Four,

Incidentally, two Blues would finish up today who had interesting records to speak of; both Jimmy Morris and Harry Greaves had contested Grand Finals within the first 10 games of their career with Carlton, with Morris having the record (Carlton) of a Premiership in his 5th game and Greaves missing out in his 4th match in 1916. More on this record is explained here.

At the end of this round Carlton were in 5th spot on the ladder with a percentage of 101.5.
