Welcome to the Blueseum Setup Forum

There are about a dozen hardy souls who have ventured into the blueseum. Welcome to all of you.

I have decided to set this forum up as a discussion point for this initial group with regards to how this Blueseum is set up.

As you can see the Blueseum at the moment is basically a blank canvass.

Hopefully once the 'painting' is finished there will be 1000+ player reviews, 2000+ match reviews and thousands of other pages detailing the CFC's rich history.

With regards to plans for the site, the intention is to build this website so that it can be used by the club and integrated into their official site. In other words the ownership of the site will be eventually handed over to the CFC (if they want it). If you have a look at the history section on CFC at the moment it has a bit of stuff there but is far from comprehensive.

Feel free to add topics to this forum and get some discussions going about how thia site should be set up, I am open to suggestions.

I love it! What a fantastic web site. I hope to be a contributor in some way. As a kid I started keeping scrapbooks on The Blues from 1981-1995. This involved cutting out every clipping I could find from papers like The Herald, The Sun, Sunday Observer, Sunday Times and Herad-Sun. I pasted all these clippings into large scrapbooks. I even bought the Doug Wade Game of The Day books which I used to fill in all game details every weekend while listening to the Carlton games on the radio.

My memory of my teen years is flooded with many wonderful memories of The Blues and going to every game , every weekend (in the days when you had to line up at 9am to get in at 11am to watch U19's, Reserves and The Big One). Ahhhh to live those days again down at Princess Park in the Autumn sun.

Anyway, if I find some great clippings in my archives i will scan them and share them on this site.

Well done to all. Keep the Blues ALIVE!!

Welcome to the site Ayal...

Anything you can find for the Blueseum will be welcome.

Just think....people for generations to come may be able to enjoy the work that you do now. That's the thought that keeps me going!

Good Luck,

Michael
