Game Review
Melbourne took control of this game after half-time and held off the Blues to win by three goals. Footscray could have knocked the Blues off the top of the ladder, but their surprise loss to St Kilda cost them dearly. Carlton remained in top spot, however our percentage was now the worst of the big four.
At the end of this round Carlton were in 1st spot on the ladder with a percentage of 115.9.
