The Argus (July 03 p5) said H. Goding played junior football in Carlton in the 1870's then transferred to Essendon then to South Melbourne. He was a timekeeper for South for 38 years.

Harry Goding was a South Melbourne player and then became a time keeper in 1886. He died at his residence in Moonee Ponds in 1924. (Australasian July 05 p22 1924)Was he a relative of Abe?
