Mervyn Olholm

Appearing in The Age newspaper on 31st of May, 1966.

'The League's ace ticket seller must surely be Carlton's Mr. Mervyn Olholm.

In the past 22 years his sales of season tickets have yielded $202,011. This is a remarkable effort when it is considered that during the 1930s tickets cost 83 cents (adult) and 25 cents (children).

For the past five years Mr Olholm's sales have averaged 4000 annually.

Mr Olholm was made a life member of the Carlton football club in 1958 to mark his untiring work.'
