Game Review
In their best performance of the season to date, Carlton took on ladder leaders Melbourne at Princes Park, and almost caused an enormous upset. In front by 7 points at three-quarter time, they just couldn't hold out the fast-finishing Demons, and lost by 12.Carlton had a great chance to beat top side, Melbourne, but inaccurate kicking in the third term on their part enabled the Demons to stay in the game, and eventually overhaul courageous Carlton, who fought the issue right out to the finish. - Football Record.
