2019 VFLW Best and Fairest Votes

Gemma Wright made an instant impact in her first VFLW season out of Keilor, the recent Geelong AFLW draftee being one of only four players to appear in every VFLW match for Carlton in 2019. The 25-year-old defender averaged 10 disposals, three tackles and 2.5 rebound-50s per game in 14 outings, shading her twin sister Sarah – who was selected by North Melbourne two picks earlier in the AFLW Draft – in the vote count.
