Game Review

The Tigers had had the Blues measure in recent clashes including, of course, the painful GF of 1969.

This time however, in wet conditions at Princes Park, the Blues proved too strong, taking control after a tight first half and leaving the Tigers in their wake.

Syd Jackson was brilliant up forward and stalwart defenders John Goold, Barry Gill, Kevin Hall and Vin Waite snuffed out most dangerous Richmond forward forays.
