Game Review
The great Harry Vallence would once again kick a bag for the Blues - but this was no ordinary bag. A mammoth 11 goals was more than the difference between the two teams; it was also only the second time in Carlton history that a Bluebagger managed to kick 11 or more - the only previous time by Horrie Clover. This remains the equal third best goalkicking performance by a Blue in a single game.At the end of this round Carlton were in 2nd spot on the ladder with a percentage of 136.4.
