Game Review

Having played in the Fosters Cup Grand Final on the preceding Tuesday night the Blues struggled to recover and duly lost to the Lions by a goal. This was back in the day of the 'Night Series' and before the specific move to a pre-season championship.

Mark Dwyer proved a revelation for the Lions in his debut game. Wayne Harmes was the Blues best with 25 disposals out of defence.
