Jim Francis - bruised ribs
Lance Regnier - knee
Jack Carney - sprained ankle

Cricket team of footballers injured
Carlton's champion rover Jack Hale was among 11 players injured in the game against Richmond. Nine of the injured were from Carlton, now coached by former Tiger Percy Bentley. This statistic helped the Tigers to a ten-point win, 13.12.(90) to 12.8.(80), in a tough game at Punt Road. Hale is the worst with a broken right leg suffered in an entanglement with Tiger Bernie Waldron. The injury will certainly prevent Hale from playing for the rest of this season, and could be more serious. Hale is renowned for his fearlessness and aggressive attack on the football. - 100 Years of Australian Rules Football.
