Game Review
There was joy at Princes Park for the second week running after this hard-fought, desperately low-scoring contest against South Melbourne. Carlton was held scoreless in the first quarter, but in turn prevented the Bloods from adding to their total in the second and last terms, to win by 13 points.Furthermore, the Blues displaced the Southerners from sixth position on the ladder, although our poor percentage of 63.19 made that situation rather tenuous.
