Scott Langan played U/19's football with Carlton (1988 to 1989), he also played reserve grade football for Carlton in 1988.

Langan played with the Bert Deacon Scholarship squad in 1986, this was a Carlton U/17's squad.

In 1987 Scott Langan was voted as the Bendigo FL Rookie of the Year whilst playing for Northern United.

Scott's older brother Reece Langan also played U/19's and reserve grade football for the Blues. After being delisted by the Blues, Langan headed to VFA Club Prahran with fellow Blues teammates Jon Henry, Mark Edwards, Peter Mark, Tim Taylor, Michael Scicluna and Michael Barron-Toop.

Langan was recruited from Bendigo League football club Northern United, via Ormond Amateurs.

He did not manage a Senior game for Carlton.
