Tennille Hay

Affectionately known as ‘T’, Tennille Hay joins Carlton’s women’s team as its high performance manager, having worked as a strength and conditioning coach for the past eight years. Since 2011, she has been involved in women's AFL including positions at the Victorian Women's Football Academy, Western Bulldogs women's team and Darebin Women's Football Club.

Tennille hopes to bring her wealth of experience and knowledge in coaching female athletes to Carlton’s women’s team by creating female footballers who are strong, explosive and hard at the ball. She believes the most important part of training is the culture of the team and mental attitude of the players.

Qualifications:
Masters of Applied Exercise Science, (Exercise Prescription)
Graduate Diploma Applied Exercise Science, (Exercise Prescription)
Bachelor Exercise Science, Australian Catholic University
Accredited Exercise Physiologist (MESSA, AEP)
Extra qualifications include:
Level 2 Australian Strength and Conditioning Association coaching qualification
Level 1 Australian Weightlifting Federation Coaching qualification
