Game Review
On this cold and wet Saturday afternoon at Arden Street, Blues' star
Harry Vallence was knocked senseless after kicking two early goals. The Shinboners then seemed set for an upset win when they held sway by 17 points at the last change, but a fantastic final quarter surge - during which North were held scoreless - got the Blues home in a thriller.
At the end of this round Carlton were in 2nd spot on the ladder with a percentage of 136.9. The Blues finished 3 games behind top side, the undefeated Collingwood and 2.5 games in front of 3rd placed team Richmond.
