Carlton secured the services of highly regarded coach Cameron Bruce following the 2017 season.
Since retiring from AFL in 2012, Bruce has served as an assistant coach under Alastair Clarkson at Hawthorn. Bruce enjoyed a decorated career as a player that spanned 234 games from 2000-2012 at Melbourne and Hawthorn, before embarking on a coaching career.
He was appointed as a development coach with the Hawks in 2013, before being promoted to an assistant coach role later that year. He worked alongside current Blues senior coach Brendon Bolton at Hawthorn from 2013 – 2015 and in 2017 worked closely with the Hawks’ defensive line.
Bruce will continue his role as forwards coach in 2020.
