Graham Burgen has an enormous amount of coaching experience, having held the positions of senior coach at the AFL Victoria VWFL Academy, as well as high performance coach at the Calder Cannons FC. His role as senior coach of the AFL Victoria VWFL Academy involved leading and overseeing the development of young talent – a skill that will no doubt be utilised in his new position at Carlton.
After initially joining the Club as an assistant coach in 2016, Burgen will now oversee the list strategy for the Blues’ AFLW team. Having held the roles of senior coach at the AFL Victoria VWFL Academy, as well as high performance coach at the Calder Cannons FC, Burgen brings wealth of experience to his new position.
