Game Review
Carlton had challenged and almost pipped the Saints the last time these two teams had met, but since that time, the spirit and form of the Blues had been sapped and perhaps found its way to the Saints, who were enjoying some good late season form. But today, with the Saints in their ‘Pura Yellow’ jumper, the Blues would be wiped from the game from the first quarter, at home, and the season could not end soon enough.Brendan Fevola was probably Carlton's only winner, with 3 goals. Anthony Koutoufides managed 34 possessions, Scott Camporeale 26.
