Robinson was at Carlton for 2 years, after crossing from Melbourne where he played 18 games over a two year period, in 1951 and later in 1954. Beginning in Guernsey No. 18 in Season 1955, Robinson only played senior footy in 1956 in Guernsey No. 6, when he managed 2 senior games. He was originally recruited from Ormond.

Keith also was a professional runner and competed in the Stawell gift in 1952.

Robinson was Vice Captain of Carlton's 1948 and 1949 Under 19's premiership teams.

Robinson passed away on the 11th May, 2002 aged 71.

"Keith Robinson, Murrumbeena player, showed such good form at Melbourne last night that it is fairly certain that he will be retained by the club.
Robinson who is wanted by Carlton, is well built and moves nicely. He played well with Carlton thirds last season, but is now over age, and must have a clearance from Melbourne if he is to stay at Carlton.
His father was a former Carlton player."
(Argus March 22 p30 1950)
There was Jimmy Robinson and Billy Robinson
Jimmy would have been 49 and Billy 40 when Keith was born.
Perhaps his family could clear up which player was his father. A photo of Jimmy is also required.
As Billy won the Stawell Gift in 1914, it seems he is most likely Keith's dad.
