Two recruits destined for successful yet controversial careers with the Navy Blues - 'Bongo' Lang and Martin Gotz - were unveiled on this Saturday afternoon at Princes Park, when the 1906 season kicked off with a comfortable win over the Fuchsias.
Carlton's key forwards Frank Caine and Mick Grace each kicked 4 goals, to ensure the Blues an immediate place in the top four.
