Game Review

Carlton lost touch with the top teams with this loss to bottom-placed Hawthorn, but they almost pulled the game out of the fire. Trailing by nearly ten goals at the last change, the Blues rattled home to fall short by 7 points.

After this loss, the Blues sat three games off top spot in 7th place. It would be hard to recover to make the finals from here.
