After a slow start, the Blues slammed on 4 goals in the final term to beat Richmond by 19 points and secure themselves a place in the finals.Downs (BOG) was carried from the ground by his teammates at the end of the game.
At the end of this round Carlton were in 3rd spot on the ladder with a percentage of 127.6.
