Game Review
After a tight, error riddled first quarter, the Blues took control of the match.
Brad Pearce's 7 goals - the same as the final margin - made him the obvious match winner and he proved unstoppable, in spite of Essendon having to try 3 different opponents on him.
Brad Peace with his 7 goals was the most by a Carlton player in a ‘Night’ series match.
Matt Clape was reported (and found not guilty) of "instigating wrestle" with Damien Hardwick.
